|
Hi Everyone
Tia got her 2nd jag at the vet tonight, that's her 12 weeks now, but the vet said she shouldn't go to puppy glasses for 2 weeks or go outside ???? any views?
She is being very good, leash training going well, sit and down going good and sleeping right through the night ( thank goodness) but who knows what will happen when she meets all the other puppies.

Depends on vaccine type but I took alfie out 1 wk after his vaccine. Balance between making sure they'll be ok and getting them socialised as early as possible!!
Plus I'm sure alfie's desperate to meet her!! |

with our youngest echo she only had one jag at 8 weeks and one day and has attended class since then.....i've no issues and feel it not only helps with the socialisation but the immune system building up! _________________ Cockapoo's...a little of this, a little of that..........
the perfect combination!

Usual vets advice is 5 days or so after the second inoculation.

Our vet said two weeks for both of my dogs too! We however took both of them out after 5 days, kept them on the lead on the path and away from where other dogs could have been eg lampposts!!!!
I haven't experienced any known issues, my advice is just to be careful
I couldn't wait to go walkies Enjoy! _________________ want to see the animals in my life?

We started taking Maxxy out with our dogs walks everywhere after his first jag,
We were told by a vet that because we already have a dog anything that Maxxy could get he will get even inside so we had him out and about meeting loads of dogs from very young and he has not been too bad when he was out, you just need to keep an eye on them.
