Hi Everyone
Baby Tia became all grown up today, we have a big stick and a chastity belt at the ready .................but any tips welcome.
Sadly we will need to miss the last training class on Sunday but, make the walks as long as she is on the leash ( sigh of relief from Alice )

Hey giy sorry to hear you wont make the last class. it will probably be a good idea to leave the group walks till she is over her season, as even of she is on lead she would atract alot of atention from any of the boys. try walking her at times you know is going to be quiet not druring the normal dog walking times. _________________ microchiping and grooming www.chipnclip.co.uk

Awwww she's all grown up. Yeah I'd agree with Kendal, try and walk her when quiet. Make sure no dogs can get into the garden if she's out on her own. |

Hey guys,
Think you got it quite lucky she got it over the holiday period! We couldnt take Totts to class for a month when she went into heat.
Ive only had experience of one dog in season and that was Totts a few weeks ago-Muffin has been spayed since years before I got her and before that we’ve owned intact dogs.
Because it was my first experience of it and we live in rented accommodation we went through loads of things to prevent her from spotting (covering her up with baby grows and all sorts lol). It was a total waste of time and leaving her to it was the best thing we could do. She cleaned herself frequently so didn’t leave a lot of mess which was good. Wasn’t nearly as bad as I had imagined and I wouldn’t mind leaving her to have another season before I get her done (because of funds). Its just a pain with not being able to take her to classes and having to keep constant watch of her.
We had people telling us dogs had dragged their owners to where I walk Totts during her season so don’t underestimate male dogs with a bitch in season lol! And theres stories of dogs jumping at fences and what not we also had the neighborhood stray dog stop by for a few days when she first started so would just keep a close eye on her. _________________ http://www.justgiving.com/Laura-Anne-Innes Please support our cause. Sorry you won't make class or the walk today........
You will find she will want to clean up after herself.
Should last in the region of 3 weeks.........she will not want a dog near her for most of that time and may show aggression towards them....however for 2 days she would throw herself at any dog and may even want to escape looking for one so mke sure the house /garden is secure...........you may also find any stray dogs will come to your house
